FIFA 12 is a computer game that brings professional soccer to Windows and Mac operating systems. This title is part of the FIFA franchise, one of the most popular sports video game productions of all time. Several brand new game-play additions have been integrated into FIFA 12. Such features improve the ball physics and intelligence of players. The graphics in this game have been refined to accurately display distinct facial features and even the tattoos of select players.

The Impact Engine is optimized to accurately simulate collisions between players and the accuracy of shots. The Tactical Defending feature improves the defensive skills of computer-controlled opponents on the soccer field. With Precision Dribbling, players can perform trick maneuvers to get past defenders or move the ball around the pitch accurately.

The career mode in FIFA 12 allows players to manage an entire franchise in realistic terms. For example, seasonal trades and other deals can be conducted based on a limited budget. Scouting missions are also available to improve a team's roster. A manager also makes all of the tactical and strategic decisions for a team before and during a game. Virtual news stories and other media displays also add some extra fun to the career mode.

A total of 29 international leagues are included in FIFA 12. Players have the chance to compete in some of the world's most prestigious soccer leagues, such as the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and Bundesliga. Additionally, lower level leagues are also available such as the Serie B in Italy and Segunda Division of Spain.

International competition can also be enjoyed in FIFA 12, which features more than 40 national teams including England, Spain, Germany and United States. Additionally, more than 50 real stadiums host the competitions of this soccer computer game.
